With all this cold weather, I have been staying inside more and finding warmth in comfort food that is delivered to my door. In winter, (especially the bitter end of winter) it is more supportive to be understanding of what your body is asking of you as opposed to constantly pushing yourself to fulfill social obligations and such.
I just love that I didn't have an agenda or plan for teaching you about the chakras, but they are matching up beautifully with the world around us! On that note, I am sending you lots of love and gratitude for allowing me to help you on your journey to becoming pain-free and learning from our experiences together.
Chakra 3 could not have come at a better time! It's all about setting an intention and exercising your will to accomplish it! January is over and as many of you know, this is the time when people may find that their initial goal for the new year was not so realistic.
So how is your first chakra doing? I really love receiving updates from some of you and I am so happy this work is helping you! I want you to know that I am right there with you doing my exercises and answering my journal questions.
It's that time of year when gyms and yoga studios are packed with New Years resolutioners who vow that this will be the year to lose 10 pounds. Maybe you are in great shape, but you want to make solid attempt at getting more organized or being on time. Whatever you have or have not decided, I'd like to offer that instead of thinking big, you go easy on yourself this year and do some small things that will actually stick.

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday! As we get closer to the New Year, It is common to think of what we want to change. Change can be big or small, but it is easier to make change become a permanent part of our lives if we are realistic in what we can handle.
That is quite possibly my husband's favorite holiday song and boy does it hold true for the weather that has been keeping us outside as little as possible this past week! When I stepped out of my apartment this morning, I almost got taken out by the wind!
Have you ever worked very diligently on something and seen the results in more places than the main goal? Take for instance changing the way you eat in order to lose weight. You have a goal to wear a smaller size. Along the way to that goal, you notice that not only are you looking better, but you are also feeling better too! I had a similar experience to the work I have been doing and it's simply amazing!
