The 7 DAY CHALLENGE is a way for you to stay motivated and consistent with yourself.
It will take you step-by-step through exercises to bring you towards optimal alignment.
I challenge you to make yourself a priority and take 10 minutes a day for the next 7 days to become a healthier version of your present self!

Each day of your challenge, you'll receive an email with a video & an exercise for you to work on. There'll also be a theme for the day as a little extra food for thought.
This challenge can fit into your schedule so that you can finally make yourself a priority and kiss your pain goodbye. The great thing is, it'll take you a total of 10 minutes to watch the video & do the exercise!

I focus on intrinsic muscles (the ones that support your posture and balance) which take a little more patience and time to connect to. WHO'S JULIET MARIS?
I'm an Integrated Bodyworker & Yoga Instructor in New York City who believes that life is about balance. With a background in dance, massage, and personal training, I have a deep understanding of how the body works on many different levels. I use a mind, body, spirit approach to pain relief to facilitate more healing in less time. This is possible because all facets of pain are being addressed.
To me, healing is about understanding your patterns and making decisions that support your body. I empower my clients to take their health in their own hands by sharing the tools they need to stay out of pain. When the body's in alignment, there’s only room for wellness.
Q & A:
If I haven't been active lately, will this help me and will I be able to do these exercises?
Yes! These exercises work the intrinsic muscles which support your posture and balance. These muscles are closer to the midline of the body and don't fatigue like the bigger muscles in the body do. I encourage you to listen to your body while working on each exercise and email me if you have any questions along the way. Some may be more work than others, but nothing should feel strenuous.
How will I access the videos?
They'll be emailed to you each day and include a password to view the video.
I have some physical limitations. Can I still gain benefit from something like this?
Absolutely! Each exercise is easy to implement and brings you more connected to you're body. In this way, you can start to notice your patterns and become aware of the positions you put your body in on a regular basis that are unsupportive & make some changes. The exercises are a more gentle way to incorporate more optimal alignment into your life.
How long will these videos and exercises take?
You should be able to watch the video and do the exercise each day in under 10 minutes.
Do I need a lot of space to work on these exercises?
Nope. If you stretch your arms out to your sides, that should be enough space for you to work with.
Is this safe to do if I have scoliosis?
Yes! The exercises in this challenge will help you find better alignment and more length in your body. We'll focus on intrinsic muscles which support your posture and balance. These muscles are closer to the midline of the body and get stronger as we work them to support you better.
Will I learn about things I'm doing that are giving me pain?
Yes! The main point of this week is to pay attention to what you're doing that is helping your body and what you're doing that is hurting your body. You can then start to take more actions that help your body so you feel better again.
Do I need to buy any props for this challenge?
Nope. You and the videos are all you need.
When do you recommend I do my daily exercise?
Mornings are best. That way, you can keep coming back to the exercise throughout the day if you feel it's something that would help you. It's also a nice way to start your day with some helpful self-care.
